HAUX-LIFE-SUPPORT – Medical Technology

The interest in the clinical and outpatient use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy is growing rapidly and continuously. As a result, countless medical chamber systems of the HAUX-STARMED-QUADRO series have been put into operation worldwide over the past years.

Whether it be a one-person chamber of the HAUX-OXYSTAR series, the cylindrical HAUX-STARMED multiple-patient chamber system or the HAUX-MINI-QUADRO or HAUX-QUADRO in rectangular design, we will work together with you to achieve your optimal system solution.

Based on our many years of experience with hyperbaric oxygen therapy and our intensive collaboration with our customers worldwide, we are familiar with even the smallest details that really matter in the construction and equipment of a hyperbaric chamber system. System safety comes first – followed by patient and operator comfort as well as ease of operation as top priorities.

Contact us with your specific needs. With the modular HAUX system, it is possible to tailor technical solutions to your user profile based on your medical, technical and financial requirements.

With the modular HAUX system it is possible to create a HAUX-QUADRO system that fits our customer’s medical, technical and financial profile.

The HAUX-QUADRO’s rectangular design offers optimized use of space for both patients and operators compared to the cylindrical HAUX-STARMED series.

A new worldwide benchmark for a HAUX-QUADRO system is our unit at the University Hospital at Lille, France.

Our customers profit from our more than 37 years of experience and well over 1,500 hyperbaric HAUX systems installed worldwide.

Some highlights and special advantages of the HAUX-QUADRO family:

  • Systems with main and antechamber as two-room chamber or with two main chambers as three or four-room chamber
  • Chamber room dimensions: width range (inner clear width) from 2000 mm up to 3500 mm, length as needed, larger sizes on request
  • Standard operation pressure of 2 bar (3 ATA) up to 5 bar (6 ATA) as special construction; higher pressures available on request
  • Capacity for 2 to 24 patients and more (seated on comfortable patient seats or in wheelchair, reclining on intensive care bed or stretcher)
  • Wide range of rectangular door designs, including widths suitable for ICU beds or extremely space-saving sliding door designs, manually or motor-operated
  • HAUX special floor leveling system with threshold-free transition inside the chamber, for comfortable, same-level chamber access without step or ramp
  • Excellent visual contact through ideally positioned windows with optimized viewing angle in the HAUX-MASTERWINDOW design in a variety of sizes, e.g. 300-700 mm
  • User-friendly computer control systems HAUX-DECOMAT 4.0 and HAUX-DECOSUPPORT
  • Comfortable seats for chamber patients
  • Optional: Audio and video entertainment as well as heating/cooling-system HAUX-HEATMASTER/HAUX-COOLMASTER
  • Quick system changeover from sitting to reclining patients with the HAUX-Roll-On/Roll-Off-system
  • A wide range of modular medical equipment, e.g. medical monitoring system HXMM, respirators, infusion pumps and suction systems
  • Standard installation of specially designed and tested, highly effective fire-fighting systems HAUX-SPRAY-FOG and HAUX-SPRINKLER
  • New oxygen-breathing system HAUX-OXYMASTER featuring low breathing resistance through injection support, with components made largely of Niro (stainless steel)

The modular HAUX system makes it possible to create a HAUX-STARMEDsystem optimized for our customer’s individual medical, technical and cost profile.

We have over 37 years of experience and have delivered more than 1500 hyperbaric HAUX chamber systems worldwide, including innumerable medical HAUX-STARMED systems alone.

Some highlights and special advantages of the HAUX-STARMED family:

  • Chamber room dimensions ranging from 1800 mm to 3200 mm and larger

With the HAUX-MINI-QUADRO-DUOX chamber system, HAUX-LIFE-SUPPORT has developed an extremely space-saving variation of an HBO treatment chamber. Rectangular in design, it offers room for either 3 to 6 seated patients, or optionally one reclining patient and an accompanying person in the DUOX configuration.

The control station is located at the front of the chamber, from where the operator and chamber occupants have direct visual contact via a large viewing window. For communication between the chamber operator and the chamber occupants, the intercom system HAUX-TALKMASTER is used.

The chamber consists of a main chamber and an antechamber. Inside the main chamber the patients have the possibility to breathe via a facemask either pure oxygen or air, while the antechamber allows entrance or exit without altering the pressure in the main chamber,

Our customers naturally also have the possibility to integrate our computer systems:

  • HAUX-DECOMAT 4.0 and/or
  • HAUX-MEDICAL-MONITORING

Further extension features are available upon request.

With the new 800, 1000 and 1200 models of the HAUX-OXYSTAR generation we provide a high-performance series of single-person chambers that meet the highest medical standards as well as fulfilling all comfort requirements.

This modern version of a single-person chamber offers therapeutic possibilities in a small space. Thanks to its compact dimensions and substructure on rollers, the chamber is extremely flexible and can be easily used almost anywhere, even in smaller treatment areas.

The ergonomically designed control panel with integrated computer monitoring system allows the safe operation of the one-person chamber.

The transparent acrylic glass cylinder provides optimal observation of the patient during treatment, and thus supports therapeutic success.

In the optimized version of the treatment with a breathing mask, the patient breathes pure oxygen through the mask. The mask prevents oxygen release into the interior of the chamber. The air exhaled by the patient is led directly to the outside of the chamber so that the O2-concentration in the chamber is always kept below 23%.

We offer numerous equipment options, such as:

  • Lung Ventilator
  • Infusion Pump
  • HXMM (HAUX-MEDICAL-MONITORING-SYSTEM)
  • HAUX-DECOMAT 4.0

The HAUX-OXYSTAR is available in three variants:

  • HAUX-OXYSTAR 800: Low-cost entry model offering full functionality
  • HAUX-OXYSTAR 1000: Comfort model, which additionally satisfies all requirements for patient comfort
  • HAUX-OXYSTAR 1200: Premium model, the highest quality version of the one-person chamber offering the utmost in comfort for the patient during treatment
