The HAUX-MEDICAL-MONITORING SYSTEM is designed for conditions in hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBO) compression chambers, especially for the observation of patients during HBO. The purpose of the system is to inform the doctor or skilled pressure chamber staff in compact form about the patient’s physiological parameters important for HBO and to promptly report deviations from expected values.

The system includes the following component options:

Central computer station with:

  • High resolution screen
  • Multifunction keyboard/mouse
  • PC fiber optic interface
  • Internal chamber terminal with screen and keyboard/mouse

Module box(es) for

  • Transcutaneous oxygen measurement (tcpO2)

The new generation of the lung ventilator SIARETRON 1000 IPER is designed and certified for use in hyperbaric pressure chambers of up to 60 m water depth (6 bar chamber pressure).

It can be used for adults, children and newborns.

All ventilation parameters, such as minute volume/flow and rate, can be adjusted according to the physiology of the patient.

Functions of the ventilator:

  • Possible ventilation modes: VC/VAC, APCV, PSV, PSV-TV, P-SIMV, V-SIMV, CPAP, NIV and others
  • Safety valve protected expiration line
  • Breathing gas mixer (21% to 100% oxygen, as well as HELIOX mixtures (premixed))
  • Standard connections for patient hose systems
  • Electrical connection: Pressure-proofed accumulators and/or medical electrical power supply

This syringe pump is especially designed and certified for use in hyperbaric chambers and is equipped with an attendant call system.

It has been developed and constructed with the utmost attention to detail and introduces a new concept of easily recognizable alarms and safety features.

The syringe pump’s configurational flexibility allows medical staff to adjust its functions to the individual requirements of each department. The system provides easy access to the pump’s active functions and therefore – most importantly – increased security for the patient.

HAUX LIFE SUPPORT hyperbaric defibrillator digital for HBO chambers

Especially developed and certified for use under hyperbaric conditions, the Hyperbaric Defibrillator is an easy-to-handle Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

The AED has been so conceived that it can also be used safely by persons without specialized intensive care experience.

Following the connection of the adhesive electrodes to the patient’s chest area, the AED automatically monitors heart activity. Only when cardiac arrhythmia requiring defibrillation is detected will the AED automatically advise and activate a defibrillation.

The operator is given instructions as speech output (also available as text output on the optional display) and is then guided securely through the defibrillation process.

Thanks to this step-by-step guidance and its internal ECG analysis, the Hyperbaric Defibrillator can be used at any time to lead you quickly and safely in performing a defibrillation.



The HAUX-SUCTION-UNIT is an easy-to-handle, highly efficient and fully pneumatically operated suction device for use with adults and children under hyperbaric conditions.

With the HAUX-SUCTION-UNIT secretions such as mucus and blood as well as fluid, semi-fluid and solid food components can be removed from the oral cavity, the nose-throat area and the bronchial system of the patient and therefore prevent aspiration.

The HAUX-RESPIMASTER is an easy-to-use, highly efficient and functionally reliable hand-held respirator for the artificial respiration of children and adults with a facemask or tracheal tube in a hyperbaric environment.

By manually compressing the bag, the gas volume (air, O2 mixgas or pure oxygen) is delivered to the patient via the respirator valve.

Following the compression phase, the elastic breathing bag unfolds automatically and fills itself again via the opening of the suction valve.

The HAUX-PATIENTFILTER has been developed for high volume requirements, an extended operational life and for application under hyperbaric conditions.

The highly efficient single-use patient filter prevents bidirectional hydrophobic transmission due to contamination.

The large pleated filter surface provides minimal pressure loss.

  • For chamber pressure up to 2 bar using oxygen and up to 5 bar using air

For positioning the patient comfortably and optimally for treatment, the bed comes with a four-sectioned, height-adjustable reclining surface. The bed height as well as the positioning of the back and knee rests are adjusted pneumatically. The angle of inclination of the lower leg area can be adjusted manually.

For optimized patient safety, the bed is fitted with side guards. It is also equipped with a special mattress upholstered with a flame-retardant and biocompatible cover.
