The HAUX-LLS maintains the breathability of the hyperbaric chamber atmosphere.

The system operates via gas processing in a closed circuit. The chamber atmosphere is filtered through a lime scrubber which provides CO₂ absorption. The chamber atmosphere is periodically enriched with a defined amount of oxygen by direct injection.

The advantage of this system is that it requires very little gas, especially at higher chamber pressures in which a helium mixture is needed for breathing.

Special dryers and filters guarantee that the humidity remains at a stable low level while also preventing the formation of strong odors and germs within the chamber.

The HAUX-LSS is equipped with the necessary redundancy measures to ensure a maximum level of safety.
